Inverter AC Outdoor Compressor Discharge Pipe Temperature Sensor – 50 kΩ Thermistor – Compatible with Split AC Units (Match And Buy)

This is not a DIY part. Replacing a compressor means opening a sealed refrigerant system: recovering the gas, brazing the joints, pulling a vacuum and recharging to the correct weight. Handling refrigerant requires licensed equipment and is regulated — doing it without is unsafe and illegal, and venting refrigerant to atmosphere causes real environmental harm.

What you can usefully do:

1. Confirm it really is the compressor. Most "compressor failures" turn out to be a failed run capacitor, a tripped overload, a burnt contactor or a wiring fault — all far cheaper. Have these checked first.
2. Match the specification exactly. Refrigerant type (R22, R32, R410A), tonnage, voltage, phase and mounting pattern must all match. The wrong refrigerant type is not interchangeable.
3. Find the root cause before fitting. A compressor that burnt out from a blocked condenser, a leak or a restricted filter-drier will destroy its replacement too. The system must be flushed and the drier renewed.
4. Have it fitted by a licensed refrigeration technician, who will recover the gas, braze under nitrogen, evacuate to a proper vacuum and weigh in the correct charge.
