Inverter AC Outdoor Sensor - Suitable for Daikin Inverter Air Conditioners (Set of 3) Heavy Duty temperature Sensor (5 Year Warranty)

A small job, but the sensor's position is the whole point — a thermistor reading the wrong spot makes the unit behave worse than a failed one.

1. Isolate at the MCB before opening the indoor unit.
2. Photograph exactly where the old sensor sits — which fin, how deep into the holder, how the lead is routed and clipped. This is the step that matters.
3. Trace the lead back to the control board and unplug the connector rather than cutting the wire.
4. Ease the old sensor out of its clip or pocket. Coil sensors sit in a metal sleeve pushed between the fins; room sensors sit in the air path near the intake.
5. Fit the new one to the same depth and the same fin, and clip the lead along the original route so it cannot fall into the fan.
6. Plug into the same header on the board and run the unit. A correctly placed coil sensor lets the compressor cycle normally instead of short-cycling or icing.

Keep the packaging and your invoice until the part is fitted and tested — warranty claims need the order number.
