Air Conditioner Cleaning Foam Spray 600 ML

No tools and no electrical work. This is the five-minute job that does more for cooling and running cost than anything else on the unit.

1. Switch the unit off at the remote and at the wall.
2. Lift the front flap until it stays open, and slide the filters out by the tab at the bottom edge.
3. If you are cleaning rather than replacing, rinse from the clean side outward under a gentle tap, never with a brush, and let them dry completely in shade. A filter refitted damp grows mould and smells.
4. Fit the new filter the right way round. Any arrow or mesh-side marking faces the way the air flows — into the unit.
5. Seat it fully into both bottom rails before closing the flap, so air cannot bypass around the edge.

Check filters monthly in heavy use. A blocked filter makes the coil ice up, which looks exactly like a gas fault and costs a call-out to be told otherwise.
