Heavy Duty L-Hook Geyser Hanging Fastener, Suitable for Racold, AO Smith & Other Brands (5 Year Warranty)

Important: Installation should be done by a qualified plumber/technician. The wall must be structurally strong enough to support the fully filled geyser, not just the empty unit. Manufacturer installation guidance for water heaters similarly stresses adequate wall strength and proper anchor installation. Step 1 – Check the Wall Use the fastener only on a solid concrete or suitable solid masonry wall. Do not install directly into hollow blocks, gypsum board or weak plaster. Step 2 – Mark the Mounting Points Place the geyser mounting bracket/template against the wall and mark the two fixing points accurately. Make sure both points are level and correctly spaced for the geyser bracket. Step 3 – Drill the Holes For a 12 mm × approximately 100 mm L-hook fastener of this type, comparable products specify a 14 mm masonry/concrete drill bit and a drilling depth of at least 90 mm. Important: Follow the exact drill diameter and depth specified for your particular fastener. Do not assume that every 10 mm anchor uses a 14 mm drill. Step 4 – Clean the Holes Remove all concrete dust and loose particles from the drilled holes. Proper hole cleaning is important for reliable anchor engagement. Step 5 – Insert the Fastener Insert the expansion portion of the L-hook completely into the prepared hole. Ensure the fastener is properly seated and aligned. Step 6 – Tighten the Nut Tighten the nut with the appropriate spanner until the expansion mechanism grips the wall firmly. Do not over-tighten, as excessive force can damage the fastener or wall. Step 7 – Install the Geyser Fit the geyser's mounting bracket onto the L-hooks and make sure both hooks are properly engaged. Step 8 – Final Safety Check Before commissioning the geyser: Check both fasteners are firmly secured. Check the mounting bracket is properly seated. Check the geyser is level and stable. Verify that the wall and mounting system can safely support the geyser when completely filled with water. Do not use the installation if there is cracking, movement or looseness. ⚠️ Safety Note The fastener's performance depends on the wall material, wall condition, drilling diameter/depth, installation method, bracket design and total loaded weight. Do not exceed the verified load capacity of the complete mounting system.
