Open the Control Panel – Remove the required screws/cover carefully to access the existing defrost timer. Check the Wiring – Take a clear photo of the existing wiring before disconnecting it. Terminal connections must be matched correctly. Disconnect the Old Timer – Carefully remove the wiring connector/terminals from the existing timer. Install the New Timer – Position the TECHNOVATE defrost timer in the same location and secure it firmly with the mounting screws. Connect the Wiring – Connect the wires/connector to the same corresponding terminals as the original timer. Do not rely only on wire colour; follow the refrigerator's wiring diagram and timer specifications. Check Connections – Make sure all terminals are firmly connected, properly insulated and cannot touch other components. Reassemble the Panel – Refit the control panel, covers and any other parts removed during installation. Restore Power – Plug the refrigerator back into the power supply. Test Operation – Check that the refrigerator starts cooling normally and that the defrost cycle operates correctly. ⚠️ Important: This timer is marked 240V AC, 50Hz, 8A, 1/3 HP, 8-hour cycle / 14-minute timing.
