All Split AC Indoor Unit Back Plate Stand for Air Conditioner Heavy Duty Ac Hanging Plate ISI Standerd (5 Year Corrosion Warranty) 0.7 to 2.5 ton Capacity

Fan motor replacement on an AC is mains-wired work. If you are not confident with wiring, an AC technician will do it quickly — and it protects your warranty.

1. Isolate at the MCB and confirm the unit is dead before opening anything.
2. Wait before you touch the wiring. The run capacitor near the fan holds charge after the power is off. It must be discharged by someone who knows how before you handle the terminals.
3. Photograph every wire and its terminal. Motor wiring colours are not consistent between production batches, so the photo — not the colour — is what you rebuild from.
4. Note which way the fan faces. Mark the blade orientation before you pull it. A fan fitted backwards moves air the wrong way and the unit will not cool.
5. Undo the bracket bolts and withdraw the motor with the blade still attached where there is room; transfer the blade to the new shaft on the bench.
6. Fit the new motor, reconnect exactly as photographed, and check the blade spins freely by hand with no rub against the shroud.
7. Test before the panels go back. Restore power and run it on each speed, listening for rubbing or vibration.

Keep the packaging and your invoice until the part is fitted and tested — warranty claims need the order number.
